An early stage Norwegian start-up (ideation phase) trying to deliver latest cancer screening diagnostic tests for the general population to detect early stage cancer.
The aim was to put patients at the heart of the cancer journey and provide them an opportunity to have access to best in-class and latest cancer screening diagnostic procedures. Moreover, in order to add more value, latest treatment options to be offered and the ability to seek multiple opinions from field experts. All this while maintaining complete patient information visibility and process transparency.
(A) The client wanted to develop a company from scratch with a nuanced insight on delivering quality services to cancer patients. They needed support on understanding respective channels and strike deals with key business partners.
(B) Core company business operating model needed to be configured and along with the model, an optimal market entry strategy was formulated. It also involved developing a profitable yet sustainable marketing plan in line with their business model for efficient operations brand building, and more.
Client wanted to put together a parallel, robust and cutting edge approach to cancer, which complements the existing hospital system. The major challenge in the project was to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and partners (doctors, hospitals, laboratory partners) to create a win-win-win model.
Most importantly, they wanted to create a member subscription model that would help end patients in having access to their services. Another major challenge was the packaging and pricing of the services as a stand alone service/commodity or a bundle to strike a balance in offerings.
Finally, pitching to the investors was the third biggest challenge, which involved and not limited to creating the pitch decks, setting up investor meetings and more.
Workshops were also conducted for both, knowledge sharing and acquiring as well as to smoothen the process of on-boarding for the multiple stakeholders involved.
Packaging structure was evaluated critically with multiple options of executions provided, each yielding different outcomes based on the risk propensity of the company. The investor pitch deck was a comprehensive manual for the company with business model, operating procedures, and other business parameters evaluated in detail.
